Toys Encouraging Alcohol Use By Children

  • Write the manufacturer with your complaint. Be sure you tell companies that you will be e-mailing a copy of your complaint to every parent you know, as well as everyone involved in your church and civic groups.

  • Vote for laws that protect children. Click here to download a copy of the Parent's Bill of Rights. It lists proposed state and federal laws that protect children. Find the ones you support and let your elected officials know that your vote for them depends on their votes to protect children.

  • Shop according to your values. Offended by what you see corporations do to children, then don't help those corporations achieve their goals with your money. Look for companies that are responsible--not merely in their slogans, but in their actions as well. Spend your money with them.

  • Contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission at https://www.cpsc.gov/incident.html and report these toys.

  • Most important, share your knowledge with your family, friends and other parents.
